The wing erected In thestyle of Historism comes from 1873 and ín 1902 the hotel was extended by a new wing in the Art Nouveau style, designed by Antonín Blažek, a considerably renowned architect. Slavia soon became one of the most frequented Czech hotels in the town. Between 1983 - 1987, the complex underwent extensive reconstrudion and modernisation.
